CAGE Match was an event that took more effort to put on than first anticipated, but now is regarded to be a favorite because of the low key relaxed nature of the event while still maintaining excitement. The Southport Cybercards(1529) and Warren Digital Goats(829) intend to continue CAGE Match, but were fearfull of attendance after the technical difficulties of CAGE 09. AndyMark ensures the field will be in tip-top condition and CAGE 2010 will run smoothly. There will be a few changes for CAGE Match 2010, and several additions. CAGE Match will again be held the third Saturday in October, which this year is the 16th. The CAGE Match is located at Southport High School (971 E Banta Rd Indianapolis, IN 46227.)

If you are unfamiliar with FIRST Robotics, or have a few cobwebs sitting in your head, at the 2010 CAGE Match will be playing the 2010 FIRST FRC game, Breakaway(youtube video.)

You have seen them at IRI and now we are bringing them to CAGE. 2010 CAGE will have Mentor Matches but with different rules. There will be only one round of mentor matches and these matches WILL count as qualification matches. There is a minimum driver/ operator age of 25, however students may coach. We highly encourage bringing your principal or other school administrators with you to the event and allow them to play the match!
